A group of Nambour’s community leaders, pictured, is working with Council to organise a September markets event featuring food trucks and musical entertainment around Lowe Street and the Town Square.  It’s all part of a plan by the team, convened by local businesswoman and Tramco Director Rhonda Billett, to activate and energise the CBD and to raise money for further events promoting Nambour and “activating” spaces in town.  The “Food Truck Friday Fest” will happen monthly, with the first planned for September 9  from 4pm to 8pm near the intersections of Lowe, Short and Queen Streets.  Food Truck Fridays will alternate with the already-established and successful ‘Nambour Forecourt Live!’ events on Friday nights.   “Our Nambour community groups met again recently and identified the Nambour Lowe Street precinct as a space in the community that needs some attention and activation,” said Rhonda. “Fun times and loads of smiles are what’s in store for this area of Nambour. “The bright […]
