Melissa Ashley 
Melissa Ashley is the award-winning and best-selling author of the historical fiction novels The Naturalist of Amsterdam (Affirm Press 2023), The Bee and the Orange Tree (2020) and The Birdman’s Wife (2016). Melissa has a PhD and an MPhil in Creative Writing and a first-class honours degree in Literature. The Naturalist of Amsterdam has been shortlisted for the 2024 Queensland Literary Awards.

Christine Wells writes historical fiction featuring strong, fascinating women. She began her first novel while working as a corporate lawyer and has gone on to write about periods ranging from Georgian England to post World War II France. Her latest novel is The Paris Gown (Harper Collins 2024).

Lisa Brookhouse 
Lisa Brookhouse lives on the Sunshine Coast. When she isn’t drinking coffee, working in her garden, or happily watching the grass grow, Lisa feeds her mild obsession of Scottish culture and history with assorted literature. She is the author of Sheep are Simply Less Trouble Than Scotsmen (2023).
