Fern are four blokes from Yeppoon, Queensland, crafting immersive psychedelic beach music shaped by the Queensland coast. Drawing inspiration from ocean swells, humid nights, and nearby rainforest, Fern’s sound blends surf rock energy with psychedelic textures, soulful undertones, and relaxed coastal grooves. Their music is built around feel and flow – creating spaces listeners can sink into rather than songs that rush past. Whether on record or live, Fern aim to transport audiences into a hazy, sun-washed atmosphere that reflects both freedom and emotional depth.

The band is made up of Sunny Nelson, Zac Nelson, Lachy Sweeney, and Callum Murphy, whose shared connection to their environment gives Fern its distinctive, laid-back yet driving sound.

Fern have released four singles to date, with a 7-track EP scheduled for release this year and will be playing on the Sunshine Coast on June 26th.
