This hands-on workshop uses techniques from his co-authored book Writing the Radical Memoir to help you turn key life events into key themes that will shape your memoir. Author BIO
Associate Professor Paul Williams grew up in Zimbabwe and has lived on five continents. He has published internationally across several genres: crime fiction, young adult fantasy and mystery, memoir, non-fiction, short stories and critical articles.
His first writing projects sold over two hundred thousand copies in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Swaziland. His memoir Soldier Blue won Book of the Year in South Africa, and Secret of Old Mukiwa won Best Young Adult fiction at the International African Book Fair. His novels include Don’t Tell, Twelve Days, Cokcraco and Parallax.
Writing textbooks include Playing with Words, Novel Ideas, Writing the Radical Memoir. He has a PhD from the USA and is currently teaches Creative Writing, and is Discipline Lead of Creative Industries in the School of Business and Creative Industries at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
