A Coffee Lover’s Destination

The sun is shining, the air is crisp, and at your feet is the town of Nambour. There are so many things to see and do, but every good venture into town must include somewhere to unwind, replenish, and catch up with friends.
Some of the best coffee this side of Melbourne can be found in cafés that dot the streets of Nambour. In fact, it would be safe to say that a large part of the culture in the town comes from coffee.
There are so many cafés that it’s best to prepare a route through town on foot. Visit op-shops and unique stores, spend time in the park or walking along the creek, before stopping for coffee and cake, or perhaps even lunch.
No matter your plans or your destination, Nambour and its surrounds boasts wonderful food and drinks in the most beautiful of settings.
During the week, a stop in at Small Change is the only way to start your day.
With specialty coffee from Industry Beans, this is the premiere coffee location in town.
You will find the sun-filled tables lining the front corner filled with artists and students drawing, reading and writing. Down the side you will find friends catching up, and towards the back you will find children playing with their families watching on.
Now in their new location, Small Change is serving up classic brunch favourites with a twist, with an in-house nutritionist consultant and plenty of gluten free and vegan options.
Other café hot spots are Nambour Social who are now offering creative and educational workshops, and for those who like second-hand goodies, The Crafter’s Heart.
For lunch, you can’t go past Mill Street Kitchen & Pantry and Feelings Superfood Bowls for the healthiest options in town.

On the weekend, you must try Muffin Whole. Set opposite Quota Park, this tiny café is bursting with lovingly made food and coffee.
Baked fresh every day, there is an ever-changing cabinet full of treats and hot-out-of-the-oven bread. Made with seasonal, locally-sourced produce, Muffin Whole’s daily brunch plate is something you won’t find anywhere else–and the team are always happy to adapt to dietary requirements wherever possible.
With a welcoming space for children and dogs, there is room for everyone to enjoy themselves. Situated nearby the playground, the skatepark, and the creek, this tranquil setting hums with aliveness.
If you’re venturing further afield into the beautiful surrounds of Nambour, pay Guru Life a visit.
Set amongst the former-sugar cane fields of Rosemount, along the winding Petrie Creek Road, Guru Life is a sub-tropical oasis.
A large pond filled with ducks and outdoor dining in the garden makes this the ideal place to meet with friends and family.
If you’re headed south, drop into Woombye to Kimnat Little Market and Café for breakfast, Frankie’s for lunch, or even Grounded for dinner. Down the road in Palmwoods is the must-try Homegrown, and in Eudlo is Eudlo General Store.
The sun is setting and you’ve been out and about all day. The last thing you want to do is cook for dinner, but where do you go?
Look no further than Rick’s Garage in Palmwoods for a strong dose of Americana. Choose from sitting in their diner or in their huge beer garden. Nights at Rick’s are ideal for catching up with friends and loved ones.
In Nambour there are two great eateries that are the go-to place for dinner.
La Salsa De Vida is the town’s resident Mexican restaurant situated on the main road.
Whether you’re off to watch a movie at Majestic Cinemas, or catching an exhibit opening at The Old Ambo, La Salsa De Vida has all your Mexican favourites and gluten free options.
Around the corner in Bury Street, you will find Maiori Pizzeria serving up traditional wood-fired pizza and flatbreads.
There are gluten free and vegan options and just wait until you try the Calzone Nutella for dessert!
Close by is Club Hotel Namba, providing a contemporary take on pub-style food in an ambient setting.
Nambour and its surrounds is full of unique cafés and restaurants, just waiting to be explored. Maybe you feel like op-shopping until you drop before recharging with a salad and juice. Or perhaps you’re wanting a few drinks and burgers with friends.
No matter the occasion, there’s something for everyone. With vegan and gluten free options aplenty, and health and comfort at the forefront of every menu, Nambour’s offerings compete with the best of the best–because they truly are something special.
From idyllic locations–picture watching the sun rise over foggy rolling hills while sipping coffee–to people watching down-town, there’s magic on every corner and down every road.
Just like everything else to do with Nambour, it’s something you have to come and see for yourself. Half the fun is in the discovery, and the reward is an experience you’ll want to have again, and again.
