1. The Festival may amend the festival program at any time without notice; unavoidable program changes may occur due to author illness, travel delays, etc and will be advised on the website and/or posted at venues.
2. Tickets are sold in accordance with the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. No refunds on tickets will be given if the participant is unable to attend on the scheduled date.
3. In the event that the Festival must cancel or reschedule an event, and the participant is unable to attend on the amended date, payment will be refunded in full within the 28 day window.
4. Participation in the Festival and entry to the festival venues and public car parks is at your own risk. To the maximum extent at law, you release the Festival, its Directors, employees, subcontractors and agents from any liability whatsoever arising, however caused by your attendance at the Festival.
5. The Festival reserves the right to take photographs and video, which may include images of Festival attendees, for the duration of the Festival and across all Festival sites and reserves the right to use all images and video across Festival media platforms and Festival promotional materials thereafter including supply of materials to media outlets.
6. No commercial activity may be conducted, and no written material or goods of any description handed out or otherwise distributed, at the Festival site without the express permission of the Festival.
7. No photograph or audio or video recording may be taken at the Festival site, other than for private non-commercial purposes, without the express permission of the Festival.
8. The Festival may refuse admission to a Festival venue, and eject from a Festival venue, any person whose behaviour is inappropriate or a threat to public safety.
9. You must bring your ticket (physical or electronic version) for entry to all Festival venues, including those listed as Free tickets. You do not need a ticket for Free Drop In events or Book Markets.
10. Tickets have been set at minimal prices in this inaugural year of the Festival and there will be no eligibility for concession or discounted local tickets.
11. Minors under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult 18+ while attending licenced Festival venues. Ages are calculated at the date of entry to the Festival.
12.  The Festival reserves the right to examine and search all bags (including handbags), parcels and packages which are brought into Festival venues, and to effect such other security measures as are reasonably necessary to protect the Festival venues.
13. The Festival may amend or vary these terms and conditions at any time and that amendment will take effect from the time the amended terms and conditions are placed on the Festival website (https://iamnambour.com.au/sunshine-coast-hinterland-writers-festival/).
