Author BIO’s
Shelley Davidow (MSEd) is a teacher, author of The Girl with the Violin (Harper Collins 2024). Shelley is originally from South Africa, but has spent the last two decades living and teaching in Europe, the Middle East and the USA. The author of forty books, her work includes children’s fiction, award-winning young adult fiction, and adult non-fiction. She lives on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast with her husband and son.
Gillian Wills is a graduate from the Royal Academy of Music, author of Big Music (Hawkeye 2024), and arts writer who publishes with Inreview, ABR, Australian Stage Online and Limelight, Griffith Review and The Australian. Her memoir Elvis and Me: how a world-weary musician and a broken racehorse rescued each other, Finch Pty was released in 2016 in Australia, America, Canada, the UK and NZ. Prior to relocating to Queensland from Victoria, Gillian was Dean of Music at the Victorian College of Arts.
Liz Evans is a British journalist, author, psychotherapist and researcher currently based in Tasmania. She spent a decade in music journalism, had brief stints as a TV presenter and radio rock critic, and published two books on women and rock culture. She published the psychological suspense novel Catherine Wheel (Ultimo Press 2024). She is currently working on a novel set in the music industry.
